What are the trading hours for FOREX?

The forex markets are open 24 hours a day, from Sunday 5:00 pm EST through Friday 5:00 pm EST each week.

Quotes are not updated between Friday 5pm New York time until Monday 9am Sydney time, as rates quoted during this time tend to have wider spreads due to low liquidity, and do not accurately reflect the state of the market. If you try to pull rates during this time frame, you will get a 'Request Error' with the message: "No data found. \r\nData is not usually available during weekends"
